Absolutely beautiful! There's really nothing better than the bond between a human and their beloved critter - they are with you forever. The anguish we experience when they depart is the price we pay for unconditional love.
OMG...I'm in tears...we were going through some old photos the other day - of all the animals we've rescued over the years...the victories and the failures...we had to stop...tears were flowing...
We stopped counting when it got past 150 animals rescued from just on barrio area - and more than that have come through our doors (and loving arms) in the past 20 years...
The five huge dogs who were roaming as a pack that we brought in from the street - it almost killed us to see their pictures - they lived in the huge shop , with a fenced in outdoor area and air conditioning and beds and toys...they were always such a joy! They were so amazing...and we lost the last one two years ago...
You never stop missing and loving them all...pets are the best of this world...
Kisses to you and DJango...he's such a hunk! You're adorable too...LOL XO
People can have unconditional love but that is not technically true. Your loved one will do something that pisses you off and that will waver for at least a moment. With animals it is absolutely true. They even have unconditional love for people who abuse them. They are pure and perfect spirits in that. Their purpose is to spend time with us and give us joy. Their individual personalities leave a mark on you forever. Good memories there Mike!
Rest in Peace Abbey. Animals have souls and a conscience, and are also survival machines. I strive to help most animals, to make their lives a little easier in what ever way I can.
Abbey has a gorgeous soul, so sweet and playful. Thank you for sharing about her. We've said good-bye to three of our Persian cats. Three holes in my heart that can only be filled by the memories of their amazingness. We still have our little Nilla, who will turn 14 in August. She's sleeping on my desk right now!😻

She is a beautiful creature...thank you for showing her to us. That was a really needed sweet interlude for my afternoon. :)
Maybe some beneficent aliens take the form of dogs :) LOL
I'm open to it. God dogs.
Now back to aliens.

They are family! I have a spirit cat that still visits from time to time. ❤️ Take heart that she is still around, just out of phase of our dimension.
👍🏻
Lots of BS signs posted in 2020.
It's a tough and sad time when you have to put your best friend down. RIP Abbey.
♥️
Great LeeAnn. Walk your miracle pup. My recorder sometimes captures a disembodied bark from a dog. Abbey?
