If you need anesthesia try to find one manufactured prior to June 2019 - good luck as I too am on search. Declined implant surgery now trying to get money on deposit back from dentist.

I actually was CONNED by Belle Haven Dentristy.. did not know they would take my debit card.. literally out of my hand and ran 15 thousand.. yep .. at that time I had that much money in my account.. (four years ago) and I had to contact my bank,, cancelled half the appointments.. and when they did the two root canals. (10K) and I had to force them to give me back 5K,, and the fact they did that well it wiped out a lot of my savings and I am on Social Security.. I still have other savings. but WOW. and now, that root canal just BROKE, consulted another dentist who gave me an estimate to "fix it" by a single implant and the 3 D xray.. (he was honest) 5 thousand bucks. Not going to do it, I am against Dental implants, found out bone grafts are involved,, then the screw (I get that double entendre) put into the old root which was inserted at the cost of five thousand. If you ever hear the estimate of five thousand.. GET OUT OF THE DENTAL CHAIR. and walk out. I did decline and I will ,, after my eye surgery fully heals go to my real dentist and see what can be done. POST COVID RIP OFFS are just starting.. and for some reason (I am retired from medicine) these half witted jack asses somehow think they actually in charge. I will refrain from using any unacceptable language here other than !!$@#$#% WTF.
I fear there is no longer a surgery one can endure without having the dreaded garbage ingredients mixed in with the anesthetics ... we're in trouble and perhaps the last of our species

PS after reading other posts - Veterinary Medicine has succumbed to the Amerikan Korporatist Health Scare System, too... We have a small animal sanctuary and we have run into the same excessive charges for un-needed diagnostics and care. DVMs, too, seem to have moved into the "disease creation and maintenance" paradigm. Sad.
Yes. Our favorite position, but we have several bull mixes and if they are not covered by rabies vaxxx and get into a public situation, we worry that the Animal Control Nazis would haul them away to the chopping block. One of our older dogs (a herder mix) is a rescue from Raiford prison where he was n their dog training program for prisoners. He was condemned after growling at a guard who hassled his handler (a prisoner). We were able to get him out and he is living out his days in the country.,.. Hope someone will be as kind to me if needed, LOL!
Yes, and now that pet health insurance is around, it’s off the charts. I know of a 9 year old dog that was treated for cancer; $11,000 later and was still across the rainbow bridge in under 9 months. Insurance covered it all.

share the same dislike of dentists, really all medical professionals. the last time i went to the dentist he attempted to drill out a big cavity in the center of a molar. took the guy 45mins or more, at one time saying -- hate to say, i have to bring out the "big kahuna" .... such a large drill bit that it shook my whole head. and i felt it all --- dude kept saying are you feeling this? I said yes, and then he'd put in more shots of whatever the hell they use to numb the nerves. well, no matter how many shots, I could still feel it, so i finally just said -- enough with the shots, just finish drilling and get this over.
at the end of the procedure, he said, sorry that was a deep cavity, any bit deeper and we woulda needed a root canal --- well, the later was correct as the next few years the tooth continued to hurt and abscess on the side. then in march of 2020 when our friends instituted the pandemic, it started hurting like holly hell... discovered the filing fell out and the big hole in the tooth was filled with crap. eventually cleaned it out and was careful the last few years to keep the hole clean.
then last weekend while cleaning the kitchen, 2/3's of the tooth just fell outta my mouth, and guess what, it feels better now than since i saw that damn dumbass dentist in 2016
