I was in a museum in Bruges a few years ago, gazing into a medieval painting of a man being skinned alive. I asked the curator “what was his offense?” In broken English he whispered “he stole from the people”.
even before all this craziness, once and a while i would think it strange that these green paper rectangles we pay for shit with were actually valuable.
now coming to learn that all the damn busting my ass day after day, week after week, year after year, decade after decade, amassing a decent amount (at least to me) of green rectangles supposedly in storage at a bank, may not really be worth anything, and may not even be able to get them out of storage.
actually saw him play on the shores of the Town lake in Austin, Tx about three months before the crash. Helluva a show, especially after drinking some tea made from certain fungi
While I try to not think too much of the psychopaths out there trying to kill us (my rage would be bad for my karma), I keep revelling in the expression of your anger (as yet another wailing ambulance drives by). I love your hostas and your bird houses. Your granddaughter is a lucky girl (and you are also lucky to be a granddad).
Thanks Natalie. I add my life experiences as a FU to those attempting to murder us. To show them they failed and we’ll continue doing whatever we want to do. My granddaughter is the most amazing person I’ve ever met and I mean it. I understand why they are so afraid of babies, of children. Thanks for your comment.
A bit off topic and a moot point now - but the 5th circuit court today ruled in favor of federal employees regarding biden's covid vaccine dictate = feds who did not comply cannot legally be fired for vax status. I fully expect the dimwitted biden admin to appeal to the supreme court. Justice in america = 16 months after the illegal dictate was thrust upon fed employees.
The monopoly text explained everything about banks! Thats great!
I studied German in school, but I did not take it seriously. I tried really hard to make my children choose Spanish as their second foreign language in school, but both chose German... I think Spanish would be a bit more exciting and more useful. But my eldest has a friend in Austria and he wanted to be able to talk his language and my little one wanted to do as his big brother. As always.
Your bar and your birdhouses look great!
This Monday it was a year ago that my husband found his friend dead, the friend that died in his sleep.

What do you do to relax.
I read the VRR. Always a few laughs to relax the face.
Lucky birds at your bar.
Just tried watching Inspector Montalbano whodunnit TV series. I intend to like it but it seems like parody to worry about just one murder. Ah, the good old days.

Second news story from the bottom; I thought it said SONY COURTHOUSE.
Next I thought, "Great idea! Why not sell the courthouses off like we have done with our stadiums?"
brilliant on the Monopoly blurb

Poor VRR Skull.......how much more can it take?
I was thinking the same thing this morning.
I decided that the stitches were centipedes. Only way to deal with it.
