Some great pics of hearses, there, Mike. I love the ones with the "Batman" fins. Thanks for sharing.

I'm kind of thinking before I'm cremated I'd like to ride around in a hearse just to experience it. Maybe a drive along the lake, or one of my running routes and my friends and family can follow along if they like.

Looks like there's a hearse club over in Bremerton. "Don't let your first ride be your last ride."

The VRR should get one as a company car.

Even a Quincy M.E. rig would be badass.

I read the article about Jack and Pat and their dog. I think this story might be troublesome for the dog. If he had plans of having another go at running for mayor. When I was little I sometimes rode the car with my drunken father behind the wheel, I used to pray we wouldn't kill someone and that I wouldn't die. I promised God all sorts of things in exchange for survival. I don't think I kept all my promises, hope he doesn't hold that against me.

Maybe the dog skips running for mayor and goes for governor. It looks ripe for the taking. I’ve had a few of those prayer rides in my lifetime.

Neil Young drove a hearse way back when he was still cool.

He should have kept cool.

So right. I saw him with Crazy Horse back in 1991 in Toronto. I'm sure he was well on his way to being a douche but it was an amazing show.

Maybe Neil should go back and revisit his "Needle and the Damage Done" song.

Big fan of the '59, but that '60 is really sweet too!

"Fighter Jet aircraft styling" the pundits of the automobile magazines claimed at the time.

Ex in-laws kin folk had a '58(?) with about 44k miles. Same front end as the one behind Kennedy's Lincoln in that iconic photo.

But, back to Lincoln; I think that his Hearse catching fire was quite indicative of his final resting place! 👹

"So Mrs Lincoln, what did you think of the play up to that point?"

Low miles on most of the hearses too.

That car was a Sunday driver. In 1992 it still smelled new inside.
