Oh, c'mon Mike, you're pulling our leg. That's a joke pic, right? Reminds me of the pic of a high school band playing a concert in 2020 where the woodwind players had masks on with holes in them for the mouthpiece. Oh the insanity.
I suppose they trap some heat and moisture, and maybe prevent cross-pollination.
Something about shit like those little tents in school pisses me off.
The thing of it is, some dipshit Karen can figure out how to force kids into them and we
are just helpless to stop the insanity. Go to some inner city school with a diverse population and
I doubt they would sit in a tent because they were told to. (Of course it begs the question why the diverse population would sit in school classrooms to begin with. )

True story from mid 2021 or so. In a very small locally owned restaurant waiting for my food. In comes about 8 women, all with face diapers on. They were not required. One woman had an infant, probably a few month’s old in a bassinet. The baby didn’t have a face diaper on. Thankfully. The mother placed the bassinet on the floor and then ordered at the counter. Didn’t even ask someone to hold the bassinet with the baby. It was on the floor. Maybe it was below the level of the co called “virus” (sarcasm intended). Since they were obviously afraid of a so called “virus”, how come they risked the health of the baby? Weird times.
that is awful --- the local houston newspaper had an article in sunday's edition that colleges were stepping up the battle against Covid, speaking of how recently Rice University had to shut down their biggest coffee house. not too sure why i even get this stupid newspaper anymore --- used to read the paper every morning, for decades, but once they went completely nutts in 2020, I cut her down to Sundays, which also allows me to banter with the online commenters to their articles that, as comes as no surprise, can be quite entertaining. early on in 2021, rage against Dr Peter McCullough was all the rage.... Yank his medical license! he is spreading misinformation and killing grandma.
but reminds me of how i learned to play the drums in middle school band right there in Bellevue, Washington --just the snare, once we moved to Kent I was fortunate enough to get a full kit and proceeded to teach myself while attempting to play along with Blue Oyster Cult.....who woulda known the 80's would come to seem like sacred times!
a very limited time in Wa, but many memories there during difficult middle school years -- the old man moved us around a lot. I count 18 different places we lived in my first 18 years, but basically, Michigan to Garland Texas (with pit stops in Colorado & Florida), then a few spots in California., then to Bellevue around 1980, Kent, and then in December 1982 to Clear Lake, just south of Houston. Needless to say my sisters and i were shocked as Christmas approached it was well into the 80's and so humid you could cut the air with a knife so to speak and where were all the cowboys and horses(?) and not but even a small hill down here. We hated it down here, but 40 or so years later, still here.
My new best friend is from Garland Texas. After he returned to me I keep running into other dog owners and their new best friend is also from Garland Texas. What is going on down there with the dogs? Pasheen is down there too trying to save every stray animal. God bless her soul.
The connections to places and such many of us have is very interesting.
I noted Pasheen was in Texas as well when she recently posted about finally receiving some rain down here. What hot as hell down here this summer --- after just a few minutes outside, you felt radiated like a turkey baking in an oven!
One memory that always stood out from our time in Garland was seeing my first UFO while playing in the backyard -- a silver cigar shaped craft pretty high up, but noticeable, at least to young eyes not yet ruined from staring at this computer at work for so many years.
It was so many years ago, about 1975, but I still have that picture locked in my head.
did not really think too much of it until I began reading UFO books when in middle school up there in Bellevue, been a bit of a UFO buff ever since and came across a few interesting folks over the next years of my life that spoke of their encounters
Madness. All the Oh-So-Progressives in Seattle must be orgasmic with their insane virtue signaling. Sadly, I am sure that many of these kids will be jabbed under parental direction,
You know what? TAlk to the kids. They barely notice.
Don't you remember? What was your mind on? Uh huh.
You can dress us humans up in thirty pounds of frillery and bombassery..nice word, ya think? ...and yet we manage to see/think with xray eyes. Always seeking a return to "the source".

That is my favorite Nirvana song, btw.

I can't think of any possible actual use for those tents.
Someone is a genius at creating the most useless product ever conceived.
My nephew uses them to grow weed indoors.

I'll share that UFO story with Banjo thanks.

Mike - is the band photo from this month? Any date on it? Where did you find it? How horrible...
2021 but they still have the tents.
Thanks, Mike!
What do you call a tent, those days? A band aid.
LOL..again and again...
I wonder how much money the a-holes wasted on that garbage instead of education. In a few months we'll see how lost we are.
