my fellow 'research buddy' (we began looking into all this craziness when the first of the lockdowns were enacted) stated this morning in reply to the Big Mike notion that
"That should start a civil war if they try to put he/she into office"
Just looking at the faces of these people was enough to trigger my distrust alarm. Perhaps it was more fear than trust that made people comply with nonsense, I couldn't say...
"I forget" is the usual defense in court or in front of a senate committee that has been used for ever. I can still recall Bill Clinton's sworn "testimony," but Killary wasn't half bad, either. :)
Fuxxi is correct about "don't blame him." People can only blame themselves for being so credulous and docile. My wife and I refused to comply from the very beginning, when it was still possible that we were in the middle of a plague that could kill 98 out of a 100 people, but we preferred to take our chances and remain human. Too bad, there were so few people behaving the same way. At least, we were left alone, but you can expect that in rural KY. :)
You were among the few. I as well refused from the start. I saw the actual reports of the very low risk of dying from Covid IF one actually got it. And children's risk was basically zero. We were lied to about it being a deadly pandemic, and Fauci was instrumental in that lie. He needs to hang.
All it took me was to try on a muzzle for 10-15 seconds. I felt like someone was trying to choke me to death and make fun of me at the same time, and both turned out to be true.
My wife and I met about six people in stores during the period.
