If you are paying attention, lots of gaps in this whole event. Glad you had a good day with a friend instead of listening to the whole event repeated over and over.

Last night while camping I saw an owl perched on a dead tree branch just after dusk. It was unsettling in that it looked every bit like something you might see in a spooky Halloween card. I looked down and looked up again and the owl was gone.

There are owls in Thailand? I'd never really thought about it, but I am 100% positive I have never before seen one here. I'm hard pressed to think of a single time in my life anywhere where I have spotted an owl in the wild. For me personally they are symbolically wrapped in my deceased sister in law, who was knitting an owl sweater in the only dream I had with her in it.

Owls symbolize wisdom and transformation. It's a significant omen...
