OML. I knew that Slim was effective against Martians, but had no idea about the effect on zombies! Great info... Will be hooking up my collection of vintage garage sale equipment to blast the slimy creatures into oblivion.
BTW, what the F is with a black bus? Needs a Reaper bumper sticker. Perhaps this is actually the Black Hole of Karma headed to Jay's house...
I think the Slim song might also bring down AI. Need to test on this. Blue is their color so not sure on the black. I take it as a confession. Needs a reaper sticker for sure.

My friend’s mom (while I was growing up in Tampa) knew Slim Whitman. Funny, I will see that friend next weekend at a reunion.
Also, “to pee or not to pee?” Flashback to 1970’s, little brother in the backyard playing. My mom yells out, “don’t you have to go to the bathroom?” At 4 years old, he yells back “if I run around, it will go way” Mom responds “yes, and it will come back with a vengeance”🤣

It looks like Slim plays guitar lefty style. As a machinist working second shift the day shift machinist would hand off the machine to me and say, "Urine pee pee."

Mike - you got up this morning while I was still up overnight, I went to bed just before you posted this. Before I read and comment I want to say this:
I am glad to see you are doing a daily substack post. You should see an increase in readership. I got my daily Jeff Childers Coffee & Covid stack an hour before I went to bed and left a couple comments and a couple replies to the first commenters. Talk about response!
I get an email notice every time someone "likes" my comment or reply. I got swamped today. Still going through them. Jeff has a very large readership, and gets many hundreds of comments.
My suggestion: Get his stack, open it early, as soon as it comes, and leave a relative appropriate comment, and add a link to your latest substack that relates. You will soon be recognized and gain a lot of new followers.

Hmmmm I seem to vaguely recall an old B&W movie of a Canadian Mountie bravely, in an evility- canceling way, singing that Slim song in a duet with his lady love. Have to go down that rabbit hole now.
Or escape the machine? Funny thing about the balls, steelies, as I called them in my marble playing days. My mom worked at a company that made conveyor belts in Detroit; she brought me a few steelies but I was bad at marbles and lost my steelies to a girl named Cassie. Funny what one remembers, she was the first and only bully in my childhood, I remember her pinning me on the ground with her knees on my arms and slapping me up some (at 10). She is either in prison now or the head of a corporation.
