Mike... Good news/bad news. Perplexity confirms that tree frogs DO eat sugar ants. Sadly, they only eat 5-10/day! So.... 1,000 more tree frogs should be able to take care of it for you! Or, an aardvark...
I suggest that you maybe build a mini hot tub for the frog...a big plastic or metal square bowl with a hole in the side for him to get in - leaving room for an inch or so of water - and put a little platform on one side with for him to get dry too...with a cover - put it, tuck it, somewhere in another garden...with a shovel full of ants...and something t0o attract the ants to that corner...the frog will be feasting and fat!
As for the cover for the awesome hot tub...(must be just amazing to have one)...maybe make your own...I use a heavy vinyl for my outdoor cat cages...it is awesome, but you may not want the sun coming through it, but you could clip a shower curtain to it to block the sun if you need to...but all you would need is 2x4s on two sides and 2 2x4s (stacked) in the middle to give it a sort of umbrella shape to make the water roll off...easier to move than the whole lid too...maybe...?
this vinyl is amazing, thick and withstands the elements - different grades and thicknesses too - but this one is...6.95 per yd.
And yes, all wars are orchestrated satanic rituals...I've been screaming about them all for decades...my first foray into activism was being an organizer/loud-mouthed dissident on the commons at Kent State on May 4th, way back then on that fateful day...I missed a bullet by about ten feet. I was "listed" immediately and have been targeted ever since...yeah, that really sukkks...but it has made me paranoid, which is such a plus for survival...
Things are intense lately for us all, and I've been MIA, always scrambling - rescue madness and massive worldwide genocides are challenging to navigate, but...I still...
Thanks Pasheen. I'm thinking of building my own cover but I need the material to be long lasting and light. Everything hurts on my body now and what doesn't hurt doesn't work.
So I have been binging on the Desert Drifter, Andrew Cross.. who died recently; a very young man by my standards. He and his wife Evelyn, most him would go out in the American Southwest, as he put it and do amazing research on the Petroglyphs and Hieroglyphs out there. He was a tour guide in the Grand Canyon. Apparently was from NC and then went to HS and VA Tech in Virginia. He is on Utube. I will one day post some of my own photos of when I was out at Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater.. nothing as spectacular as his work.. so Have a good MEMORIAL DAY, Mike. take care. Isabell
Good thoughts for today! And, love the garden pictures!
Thank you, Mike, for sharing.
Thanks Donna
Frogs love ants! Keep the frogs...
How many can one frog eat? I have 10,000 ants with more troops waiting to enter.

I love seeing your GG photos. It's such a creative space. And a healing space.
If I were a musician like you I think it would be the place where music ideas would come to me.
No doubt, my friend.

I like your plan for the apocalypse - Good bottle of whiskey. Might need a case though.
I was thinking of a direct hit on GG. Go out after the first sip.

Are those marigolds by the concrete statue head?
Yes. They are scattered throughout the garden.
