I’m not speeding, and in complete control of the bus, all safe.
I had c19 twice. Unofficially the first time from Feb 10, 2020 until a few weeks into March.
I had every symptom. Thought I was going to die. I never went to the Dr or the e.r. because I thought it was "only" a bad flu.
Zinc, a prescribed vitamin d (ergocalciferol), vitamin c and lots of fluids, even Pedialyte and bed rest.
Second was early November 2021.
I had just started getting chemo for lung cancer/asbestosis in October. After 2 doses, I started running fever. Go to the hospital e.r. Test negative for c19. I'm admitted. I have a staph infection from the port-a-cath. Drs remove port and I'm put on i.v. antibiotics for a month.
Then a couple of weeks later, while still taking i.v. antibiotics, I'm back at e.r. with fever. I test positive for c19.
I was "assigned" wonderful infectious disease Dr. James Crowe when in the hospital. (He's approx in his late 40s/early 50s. I'm guessing it may have been tough growing up with the name Jim Crowe.)
Dr. Crowe explained that (at that time) after testing positive once, a person could potentially test positive for 3 months afterwards.
Fucking crazy! Is that how "they" came up with the term "long c19"?
So I had to stop chemo, but continued for a full 6 weeks of cyber knife radiation treatments.
Even while I was positive for c19, my awesome radiologist would have me come as the last appointment each day. They would sanitize the room thoroughly when I was done each day.
Oncologist claims the tumors shrunk after chemo x 2 and 6 weeks of being zapped with radiation.
I'm now getting a year of monthly i.v. immunotherapy treatments. A drug called Imfinzi. I just had my tenth dose last week. 2 more months to go. Then we'll see what is next.
Even though most of my Drs highly recommended the jab, my radiologist and infectious disease Drs were cool with me choosing to be not vaxxed.
So I haven't seen this post ,,, still have laptop issues,, a friend of mine sent me a link about the "cosmic strand" computer virus: BUT,, when I saw the name KEN KESEY.. I said why does that sound so familiar. OH YEAH: ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO's nest.. Wow. you are really pulling out the "counter culture" aren't you.. I used to quote from that movie: nurse Rachet.. (spelled Rachad) when I worked in medicine; I have been to visit many a patient in psych wards.. and frankly... the truth is many a psych ward is not far from that one. I visited Western State in Staunton, VA: that place is still up and running and I know you do a lot of "paranormal".. but many patients died there and when I was there.. that place was extremely creepy.. I had two friends who ended up as patients (one was a Veteran. the other I actually ended up as his Medical POA after he was in there; When I looked up its history.. no I was really shocked; but not really as I am a very empathetic person. Even the parking lot was eerie.. also there is a ward there for the criminatlly insane.. TALK ABOUT one of the more strange experiences.. in my life.. in fact Staunton VA feel saturated with something strange.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_State_Hospital_(Staunton,_Virginia) I know you are busy working on the VCC and have a bet going on.. :) but that place felt like one was being watched all the time. When I went to visit one of my friends there; the door was open at all times and "security" stood outside the door, all mail was monitored and all packages searched. it was like a Prison. in fact it was a prison just called it a hospital. People were actually lobotomized there.. (read history) the VIBES were unreal. After that I never felt the same (I mean after visiting there about five times; every time I even drove through Staunton,, which is near James Madison University.. down in that area, I always felt really like Wow.. would could be going on there now? IMHO, one would have to be INSANE or something to work in a place like that.. no kidding this time at all. well I need to go.. watch Tucker,, the freak show continues. Not Tucker, I mean the people he informs us about. I like Tucker,, :) ttyl.
