Author note: I did give Jessica the clock, but after X amount of years it needed some repairs so she gave it back to me to fix. It's repaired. I need to give it back to her but I like it too much and now I want to keep it. I'm going to try and buy it off her.

She was a Scientologist too. I think they stay away from shots etc? But she was also in the “high risk” age category and could have easily succumbed to the fear mongering. The turbo cancers are crazy common now.

I believe I heard somewhere that Dickey Betts was the main writer on Jessica, and that was his daughter's name.........

Oh how I love The Allman Brothers!! Seen them a few times...once shortly before Greg died. His son Devon’s band was backup. Great guitarist!!! “Jessica” brings back fun memories but Whipping Post might be my favorite! The 70s....a much simpler time for sure!!!

Love Whipping post. I have this big scar on my cheek. A doctor put it there in 2008. She said, "I'm going to give you a big Indian warrior chief scar." I said, "Perfect." So I really like Greg's, "I'm no Angel." The rest of the lyrics fit me too.

Haven't thought of that song in a while but it ranks right up there too. What a voice he had!!! Those were the days when Men were Men and that was something we gals could count on.
