I work in music too. Lots of people we work with took the jab. So far one person had a stroke, chest pains in another. As far as Django goes - music can save lives and heal. Stay with those blues.
In March of 2021 my wife and I had to be present for the inspection of our new house in another state to which we drove and attended the ceremonies. We were excited to be moving to another state, although blue, not as deep blue as our former state, with plenty of 'salt-of-the-earth' citizens possessing conservative values to help make the bluish overtones more or less disappear.
After the inspection we went to a restaurant for our first time in this new land. Like most restaurants this one had nearly folded a few months earlier due the draconian lock downs, social distancing, mask mandates we all had to endure. Thankfully it was back open but severely understaffed. Our waiter was a young man who was very friendly and so we struck up a conversation with him.
The short of it was he was going to attend a state university in the months to come and had to take the jab in compliance with the school policy. Being young and healthy we asked him how his jab experience went, because we were doing our due diligent research in the run up to making a decision about same such jab compliance. My thinking was "Why run out and stick some experimental drug in my body without knowing it's safety/efficacy track record?" WHY? I guess this waiter's life agenda of going to a state UNI was more important than his short or long term health.
I asked him how it went. He described the experience as quite frightening. He said the stick hurt a lot when flowing into his arm. Then a few hours later he felt nauseous, with increasing pain at the jab site. Then by that night he thought he was going to die.
Lucky for him within a few days all that subsided and here he was on the job again with said jab coursing its way through his system.
And so with that encounter we began to pay extra close attention to the reports of nasty experiences that seemed to be not widely known or cared about over the months that followed. Needless to say I believed that my year of not catching the dreaded disease and my good health gave me confidence to live my life without this drug in me. I've survived decades of the flu and other diseases in like manner without succumbing to jabs. I guess I have I high fear tolerance. when it comes to life and death matters my faith in Jesus helps the fear dissipate because I know my life is in His hands and because of it whether I live or die is irrelevant.
I side with the apostle Paul who wrote: "Yes, and I will rejoice, 19for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, 20as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. 21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:19-21
With this eternal perspective it is inconceivable that my government or anyone else can hold my life over my head as a form of extortion or blackmail to force me into fear induced compliance to a lie. Sure momentary suffering may ensue, (prison, loss of income, etc) but what kind of life to be lived in slavery to tyrants? Slavery both spiritual and physical. We are promised a crown of life if we persevere through trials.
