Last year a Seattle ferry had a rather hard landing and nearly destroyed one end of the ferry and could have possibly killed numerous passengers. Yes, the captain is fully CV 19 vaccinated and up to date. Those who exercised their critical thinking skills and refused were terminated.

A dear and late friend of mine worked for the ferries for over 25 years before he sucumbed to cancer in 2019. He was always complaining about how the state screwed the ferry employees, the high turnover rate, defered maintenance on the boats, employee absenteism, Capt. Hazelwood type anecdotes, and general employee morale and malaise. This was all before Covid19 and the vaxx mandates. Its a wonder this doesnt happen every day.
I'm sure Gov Inslee is going to be spinning up a Blue Ribbon panel to get to the bottom of this. Haha. Its nearly Summer tourism season. He'd better get at it!
