There is no one in this world who plays that guitar like SRV does! My favorite 😍 and Aliens, well, that’s double trouble or should I say, that’s a cold shot babe! On a lighter note, for me, it’s some good music and a great movie.
H.R. Giger was some artist! A slightly more dark than I prefer. 😎
I had a ‘67 mustang and a ‘72 super beetle and a ‘65 olds delta 88, yes! Bring back old cars! I was a mechanic one in my life and old cars are the best to work on…I love that I am tiny enough to fit in with the engine to work on the cars! 🤣🤣🤣🤣I just put brakes, rotors, oil change, air filters changed, tires…ahh, I miss the days when we did have to hook the car up to the computer…ps I went to carburetor school! I was a badass timer! 😊
Wow on the 72 super beelte. I owned a 63 beetle.. wish I my ex husband had not sold it. WOW GOOD FOR YOU .. I USED to do some stuff.. today I use the OBD computer to clear "check engine" lights. VA DMV is really nasty. :) well good night. I love car conversations..
My first car was almost a 1967 Mustang. The Bullit car. It wasn't green though-blue. My dad who was a mechanic amongst everything else. I watched rebuild an engine in a day. Start at 6am and it's running by 9pm that evening. He started the Mustang up, rev'd it several times, it sounded fantastic, shut it off, shook his head and said, "Let's go. You're not getting this car. Too much for a first car." Then I got my GTO. Miss her.
I own Dodge Charger high performance muscle car right now and some guy stopped by here this week even though MY HOUSE is clearly marked with NO TRESPASSING, Christmas lights and NO NUTS (chock full of nuts top) etc.. and cameras everywhere YUP. :) and tried to buy it.. hmm. that is what I mean about having a strange week. I LOVE GTOs.. :) and I could do a couple Substacks from all the car shows I go to.. and the cars I have owned. :) The old days were Ok. :) .
My friend has a Hellcat. He came over one night and drank a half a bottle of tequila and couldn't drive so I drove him home in his Hellcat. WOW!!! Scary when the tires break loose shifting at 70MPH. I couldn't believe it. He was passed out. He's a big dude and it took both me and his wife to get him out of the car, up the stairs and into bed.
That would be awesome! 😎 I love car shows, I go! When living in Cali, I went to the Pomona funny car drag (my all time fav) with the lead from “Poison”, the band! Had a blast!💥 I also catered the NHRA Nationals…that was amazing! 🤩 what made me laugh, “diehards” bring a gas mask and stand behind the engines, and we are worried about h5n1 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
email me a picture of it--michaelhuggins50@gmail.com. I have everyone of his videos he did on VHS. I probably won't be able to find it now and I don't own a VHS.
Wow: SRV. what more can I say? I own ALL of his "CDs" and I MEAN ALL OF THEM.. his entire collection. :) great post.. oh Kudos on your wife putting up with you.. :) LOL.. good night MIKE. :) .. have an early am.
OMG, I saw your wife's hat in that photo and said, "That is a lot like Stevie Ray Vaughan's hats." Then I scrolled down and saw the SRV video! I have no idea what "that tat" is, but your wife looks like a super-cool chick.
I had a Stevie-style hat when I lived in L.A., and he died before I even knew who he was. It was like this one, with the silver badge-style embellishments but without the Texas pin:
I was a bra-less bitch and I wore that hat everywhere, even to my J.O.B. I fell in love with SRV's music in 1992. I wanted to become a guitar player of his caliber. Then I met Ron. Two hot-shot guitarists, husband and wife? Not gonna happen🤣😭. (Although I did get really good until we left L.A.) Best for me to to focus on voice, flute, and keyboards.
Also, tell your wife that I absolutely adore the French-style buttons on her white skirt/pants/shorts. So classy.
"Bra-less bitch," ha...ha...love it. My wife was wearing her what's your sign shirt at Home Depot and a woman walking towards her yelled out TAURUS, she replied "Taurus," they high fived each other and just kept walking. I can't take my wife out to bars. She has this aura and when I leave to go to the bathroom I come back and there are five dudes standing around the table half her age talking to her. One time I just reached in grabbed my beer and went and sat at the bar. Another time a young couple came over and asked her if she'd go home with them tonight. I said, "Go, go. What's wrong with you."
And I love that you are still married! Congrats!
Yes, day by day, by day. Don't know how she puts up with me.
She loves you! Right on!👍🏻
Haha! I hope Ron feels the same way about me!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
CONGRATULATIONS YALL!!!

Cheers my friend. Thanks so much for that comment. It means a lot to me tonight during my pause.
Anytime Mike! We all need a pause…especially like minded people! Happy new year… a well deserved break was needed for us all!
And I can’t leave out the fact about that ‘68 GTO! Nice 😊 one of my favs! I do prefer a hemi cuda but, that’s just me…🤗
Bad ass car too. Bring Back Bad Ass Cars Again.

Happy Days! Your memories are great and you married the hot chick! You rock. 😊
I'll argue that you rock. Thanks Donna.
That's an excellent story Mike! Great memories. And still with the same lady! A rarer and rarer treasure these days.
Thanks David.
I still have my ticket stub from Stevie’s concert in 1985🥳💥! Love it!
Thanks Mike!
