Lyrics are from Peal Jam’s song Ledbetter. They won’t allow it to be posted on Substack. Must be about $$$$. Isn’t it allows.
Unsealed on a porch a letter sat, and then you said I want to leave it again
Where’s your escape from the war place? The furlough from the war. Maybe a week or two, no TV. A few bottles of wine, and some nice scenery. I know one of my subscribers has a beautiful cabin on a lake. That is you L.
A few pictures I’ve taken on my getaways. In Moclips I discovered the beauty of tree branches and sticks placed and staggered along the beach as the sun sets behind it, or don’t place anything and just find a log with a howling coyote.
I don’t recall a black arm extending out when I took this picture, but it looks like one is there. I’d sure like to see the face attached to that arm. In the famous cemetery called Boot Hill in Tombstone AZ there is a person with the last name HUGGINS buried in an unmarked grave. He died in one of the town fires. Perhaps the big one on June 22, 1881.
Here’s an example of me falling in love with a branch.
I’m off a little to the left but trying to take the picture and hold the branch, and align the sun after you’ve had a few glasses of wine isn’t easy. The branch is now featured in my garden as the GG backdrop headdress.
How about a giant H while the sun sets. H for Happy.
There’s a story about a giant blood sucking creature that fits the description of Mothman that killed a man in one of the century storms that hit Moclips in 1911 & 1913. I’ve never ran into it.
