“Bus stops are far more interesting and useful places to have art than in museums.”—Banks
The above picture is one of my favorite pictures that I took as a driver. It was taken at the Highland P&R in Issaquah. I went to the bathroom walking past this zone and there were no boots and a mask. A quick urination release and on my way back I see this beautiful displayed photo opportunity I couldn’t pass up. Was the person abducted by aliens, sucked him right out of his boots? I was driving the 554 route known as the looter cruiser.
All shops on the Highlands and into the town of Issaquah were allowing free looting. I like free but couldn’t understand why the shops wouldn’t allow willing paying customers the right to purchase items for free as well. I think this is called discrimination. I didn’t think King County liked discrimination, only against unvaccinated people. I guess they’re expanding their discrimination boundaries.
Several of us drivers would track how many looters we picked up per shift on our run cards. Here’s one of mine.
The looters would board the bus with arms full of clothes, still on the hangers and with the tags still on. They go to the back of the bus and remove the hangers and tags. I would then take the tags and stick them in the seats so that the next group of looters can see all the tags as well as the paying law abiding citizens riding the bus. I would also take all the hangers and hang them all over the bus.
If you look all the way to the back of this picture you can see how I have the hangers all nicely hanging. I like a clean tidy bus. Notice no trash on the floor. Price tag on the front seat on the right, $24.99. I’m guessing a blouse stolen from Marshalls. The red tag behind it is a mark down item. Bargain. Probably Target. Looters like bargains too.
A guy once tried to board my bus with a 20’ aluminum extension ladder, another guy with a running chainsaw, another tried with a giant barbecue grill with propane attached. Many tried with five gallon gas cans filled to the top. There’s just so many ways to get killed on public transportation. Guns are allowed as long as you don’t point it at anyone. Twirling it is acceptable. I’m not going back to see if the safety is on. Knives are a popular choice. Those are my bus driver stories from hell.
I’m receiving text messages as I type. The messages are coming from one of King County Metro transit bases. I won’t say which one unless I’m paid. If KC officials want names I can be bought off now just like THEM. I’m considering turning and being a big time money whore just like THEM. I’m not cheap so don’t fucking try and lowball me. That will only piss me off more than I already am.
The disaster KC finds themselves in is apparently there is a serious steering issue on some of the buses. So they’ve pulled X amount out of service to be repaired. No problem. Ace mechanics at Metro. This is a two to three day fix for them. The disaster is they can’t get the parts for another six months. Massive cancelations ongoing as I type and operators are pulled off their work and sitting around the base for the duration of their shift. What the fuck is Dow Constipation going to do?
The union responds. I need someone to translate this for me.
"My phone started lighting up," said Cory Rigtrup, the union's Vice President of Maintenance. "A steering wheel doesn't make tires move. Yeah, that's about as big as you can get."
Here’s something odd. When I read the article my bullshit meter pegged. Why would that happen? Calibration off? I drove for 23 years and sometimes the steering seemed to be out of control and the buses weren’t ever pulled. There’s big ass pot holes all over downtown Seattle. I swear they jarred numerous fillings loose in my teeth, crowns too. You’d drive around and the steering wheel would constantly shake in your hands. You start a turn and there’s about four to six inches of slop before the wheels start to turn. I had many buses like that. Credit the drivers ability to drive some of the buses they were sent out with.
If KC is just fucking around what is the reason? Maybe they have a serious mechanic shortage due to vaccine sickness, and are constantly behind 130 buses a day. There’s no way to keep up. There’s no mechanics to hire. Could a fabricated story that there is a serious steering issue that needs to be corrected and 130 buses need to be pulled out of service be their answer? Buy them some time, like six months. Maybe they need a reason to layoff X amount of drivers and this ensures a cover story for the union.
What is the name of this default part? What does it look like? Could a local machine shop fabricate it, or better yet KC Metro’s machine shop? This is the way it’s done in third world countries like Cuba when their 1952 Desoto taxi cab breaks down. We are equal to any third world country aren’t we? Apparently not.
The article claims a couple of drivers discovered this serious steering issue. I wonder if these two drivers have names. I wonder why the mechanics who work on them every day didn’t notice this serious steering issue. I do a lot of wondering when my bullshit meter goes off.
The buses with the problem are manufactured by New Flyer. Is it all of these new buses shown behind Dow Constipation? Supporting Dow is his favorite council members. I did get into an email exchange with Claudia. We couldn’t agree on the definition for the word, “safe,” as I recall. She thinks 41,000 dead Americans from the vaccine is just fine, perfectly safe. I started the VRR because I completely disagree with her and the rest shown with her.
Eighty plus forty equals 120 almost the exact number. The electric buses KC purchased prior weren’t made by New Flyer they were made by Proterra. I wonder why KC opted out of the Proterra buses and decided to go with New Flyer? The Proterra’s were a disaster and KC was told about it and went ahead and ordered more.
A big fucking waste of taxpayer money, but it had to be done at the time because the WEF green governor was on the campaign trail pumping green in hopes of being the next president of the United disaster States. He was shunned and laughed at. Sometimes they laugh at their own.
So just what the fuck is going on with KC is anyone’s guess. It’s usually the complete opposite of what they are saying. Perhaps that is why I had the bullshit meter spike. I know them well. Lying deviants. All of them. They are all just a Fauci / RocHELLe arrest away from facing the question, “Why did you coerce residents in King County into participating in a medical experiment? Didn’t you know this is a violation of the Nuremberg Code and the punishment is death?” When this happens their answers will be published on the VRR, but only for paid subscribers. For free I let you read half of their answer. You better start encouraging me to flip to upgrade to paid, or none of you will get to read it. Their arrests could come at any day.
Author note: I’d like to go to Cuba one day. I like old cars. When my doctor told me she was quitting because her profession was too corrupt I asked her what her future plans were. She said she wanted to go places her government forbid her to go. She told me she was going to Cuba. What a rebel doctor.
Thank you for reminding me why I’m so glad to be out of King Co.
you have my attention: Good morning. believe it or not Buses are a very big deal to me.. I didn't know you were a bus driver at one time? will write more and most the new double length buses with an accordion like middle.. which actually did its driving lessons on this very road... and I complained to METRO.. think that bus must of cost a million bucks (who knows) and NO ONE IS ON THE BUS: EVER. but I will read your article having been a long time commuter of all forms of public transportation. :) hmm. recently Metro here just announced FREE bus rides from Alexandria into DC. and the giant ass buses are still empty. I like the shoe photos. be back need to get some other stuff done.. and read your article more thoroughly.
