“You need to understand your powers.”--Superman
I do these walks I call suburban hikes. I take my backpack and hike right out my front door. The beauty of these hikes is when I return, I know I won’t find my car windows smashed out, stereo gone, and it resting on the axles. It’s parked safely in my garage. A few years ago, I bought some new wheels for my car and when I came home my wife was out front. Her comment, “Who are you now Heisenberg?
My car name then became HEISENBERG. “Are we taking your Audi clunk my love, or Heisenberg?” Heisen wins every time.
A typical walk will be around 2.5 hours, but I’ve logged in several six-hour hikes. On one of the hikes, I came across a very old house. It’s called the Reard House, named after the original owners. The house is late 1800’s. It’s also said to be haunted. A little girl and a tall man.
The Reared house in 1940.
The Reared house before restoration.
The house is being restored by the local historical society. They’re the ones that made the claim it was haunted. In the restoration they found several interesting things that were buried inside the walls. One of them was an old letter dated July 31, 1900. Where were you back then?
The letter indicates there’s some political corruption going on. Not knowing the political circumstances at that time it’s hard to know who the good guys are and who are the bad. But J. Reard does mention the word, “fraud.”
“We must not let this fraud to be consummated.” He lays out a pretty good case to prove fraud, and a plan to counter it.
As we get ready to vote next week political corruption is the dominate thought. The democrats here are running an ad against a Republican. The ad against the Republican says, “She still believes there were issues with the 2020 election,” or something to that affect. Don’t we all believe there was issues with the 2020 election? The only way you wouldn’t know there was political corruption in the 2020 election is if your head was buried up your ass.
I have zero faith anything will change after the election. I want to be wrong. Was the 154 who dropped dead in So. Korea a political warning? Did someone say look what we can do if you attempt to dethrone us. We can take out everyone who has been vaccinated at any time. You better back the fuck off or you’ll have billions of dead bodies to deal with? I’m just throwing that out because this article has been sitting in my IN Q folder for weeks waiting for me to slut it in.
I’m slutting it in today. By the way, IN Q is a mess. Fifteen half written articles. Some of them I’m stuck on a single sentence. It will come to me one of these weeks. The life and times of a discombulated writer.
The restoration of the Reard house is almost complete and I’m looking forward to touring it when it’s open.
Behind it is the botanical garden society. Beautiful flowers and vegetables in a fenced off location. I’m probably going to join next year depending on how our war is going—they’re dead and I’m alive. My wife doesn’t believe she’ll ever see me again if I join. I told her she can have Heisenberg.
Grow food. Share food. Onions are a human super food. My wife once dated a guy, and his last name was Onion. Then she married a Ghost Gardener—me. Boo!
Enjoyed the story of the Reared House----much involved including the tale of possible election fraud which is certainly timely! And great photos, too.
Cool house! As for the elections, am hoping for the best. With low expectations. Amen: I, my family, you, probably most of your readers, are not vaccinated for sars-covid death.
