Governor Jay Inslee's Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test

$50 million dollars later--FAILED

Back in 2016 when I was an employee at King County Metro as a legally unvaccinated person I became a EV crash test dummy. Not a fake one either—the real deal. My job was to test drive the all new electric bus that King County just purchased without any citizen vote or approval at a cost of about $1 million dollars. If the crash test proves successful, the county will purchase more without any vote or taxpayer approval.

For this test I would drive the EV on the selected routes, 226 / 241. There was a charging station at the Eastgate P&R and I’d charge the bus after each run. There were huge plastic containers filled with water mounted on the seats to simulate the weight of passengers. Real fucking science in action here capable of easily fooling any politician.

I was told to follow the diesel bus in service and just stop at every stop he or she stops at and simulate what the driver does. Open door and pretend to let passengers on. Drop wheelchair ramp and board a wheelchair. Bullshit. Too fucking boring. I went rogue.

We were also supposed to write up all the issues we had that needed to be fixed. This was a long list after each shift of which King County completely ignored except for one. Fix the seat. It wouldn’t go back far enough to accommodate a driver taller than 5’10”. How did the engineers blow this one? Were they all midgets?

They ignored our safety cries. When you load a bike on the Proterra you can’t see out of the front windshield. Another issue was the bus was making drivers sick. When it would charge they’d get headaches, become dizzy, and call in sick the next day. Everyone was baffled. Metro’s solution—do nothing.

This was Governor Inslee’s WEF dream, also his wet green dream. In his eyes and the King County Council’s eyes it was an enormous success. BUY MORE!!! I think they eventually bought around 18 at a complete total cost of around $50 million.

They had a goal and a deadline. All electric buses by 2035. They should have known, but they’re just too fucking stupid. They should have listened to the drivers, listened to the mechanics. The buses would break down and there were no immediate spare parts. KC’s solution—BUY MORE.

The manufacturer is Proterra. They’ve filed bankruptcy and they’re pulling their own plug. After this weekend there will be no more electric Proterra’s running in King County. Green wet dream turns to piss.

One other problem with the Proterra’s. During Covid they had to pull them out of service because the windows don’t open and drivers and passengers with their induced Covid fear freaked. However, GOV knew they were going to drag this Covid nonsense on for years and they can’t have their electric wet dream sitting in the yard rusting away. There’s another problem. EV’s can’t sit. They have to continuously be charging.

King County decided to just put them back in service. Fuck public health and that’s what they did. They also knew that Covid was a big fucking hoax too. I speculate.

Here’s a good photo of the dock station. Major problems with the buses docking properly. Numerous times I barely made it back to the bus on zero charge. I discovered something. If you pull over and it’s at zero charge, at an idle it will self charge up to 2%--enough to go one block. Repeat the process all the way back to the bus and sign in for your overtime.

The diesel bus behind the EV is also running the same route 241. It was on this route in January of 2017 when I was pondering my alien encounter and how it turned out. I asked the question what am I? An asshole driver zipped in front of me forcing me to brake hard. The car had a lone bumper sticker that read---YOU ARE A WARRIOR.

Bumper sticker side note. I’ve noticed that after I put on my Vaccine Reaper bumper sticker no cars tailgate me anymore. Would you tailgate the reaper?

I ran a sci-fi test session. Quick review proves I failed but I haven’t made it to the end yet. The session has me talking to another alien race and I’m a little pissed off. Rage meter is pegged. I’ll share that session in a future post—maybe.

My rage is justified and directed at them like a laser beam.

This video shows it docking. It would self-abort and you’d have to drive around and repeat wasting your entire break just to get it to dock.

This video shows the water science. This is their latest and greatest next EV failure. It’s a 60’ articulated bus. Masks are required to watch this video. King County had a sticker on the door claiming masks were required per federal law. I asked them for a copy of the federal law and they could not produce one. They lied.
