Christiane Amanpour started her career at CNN in 1983 as an entry level desk assistant. Translation: She was a gofer, dumped the trash and moped the hallways. She rises through the ranks to become the highest paid journalist in the world. She’s a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and Forbes magazine has her listed as one of the worlds 100 most powerful women. She’s received almost every award ever awarded and in 2007 was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire. She has honorary doctorate humane letters from University of Rhode Island, Emory University, University of Michigan, Northwestern University, Georgia State University, Amherst College, University of Southern California, and was an honorary member of the graduating class of 2010 of Harvard College.

This desk assistant also received the Edward R. Murrow Award for distinguished achievement in broadcast journalism, Award for excellence in journalism from Harvard Kennedy School, and the TV Personality of the year by the Association for International Broadcasting in 2015. The same year she was recorded shape-shifting from human to alien on a live broadcast. Isn’t there an Alien of the year award for journalists? When she isn’t out receiving awards she is on the board of directors of Committee to Protect Journalists, and the board of directors for Center for Public Integrity.

She has plenty of bullshit stories too. Like how the Iranian President canceled an interview with her because she refused to wear a head scarf. Christiane you aren’t looking too good.

There are dozens of photos on the internet showing Christiane wearing a head scarf.

There’s a bullshit story about her apologizing for not knowing the difference between a shooting and a shoot-out. Is this to show she’s only human and sometimes gets it wrong, but will apologize when she does?

Maybe she got it right and didn’t “misspoke.” These THINGS get it wrong all the time mingling in human affairs.
