Garden Talk

For over ten years I’ve been using my previous years sunflower seeds to grow for the following year. We now have our own seed strain. This year I have a comparison to my new Super Ghost Garden Sunflower Mammoth seed and regular store bought. BIG difference.

They are a strain of seed that is now perfectly matched to GG environment while all other seeds are playing catch up. I’ve shared this story with other Sunflower growers and they are placing their order for next year. I’ll probably become rich and famous and bag my second half-ass attempt to make a living as a writer.

In this morning’s garden session, I mention additional boxes I’ve added. This one is out front. My hope is to lure my neighbors into gardening. Long shot.

It’s just a raised hosta box. I don’t know what the small plant growing on the end is. Dozens of them were growing in my compost so I transplanted a bunch to see what they are.
