A simple request--provide me with a copy of the Federal Mask Law
add in a copy of Wa. State Emergency order
“I came, I saw, I conquered.”—Julius Caesar
First off, happy Governor Inslee emergency mental crisis ended day to all people in Washington State. 975 fucking days. I can only imagine the mental horrors that must float through Governor Jay Inslee’s brain. I had one kick ass celebration / Halloween party last night. We did the monster mash. On May 6th, 2022 I made a request to the King County public requests department. My request is for them to provide me a copy of the Federal Mask Law which King County believes exists.
Pretty straight forward, easy request. Attach it to the email and send it off to the person making the request. Done. It wouldn’t take more than a minute of someone’s time. It appears they are having a little trouble with my request. The problem is, “the size and scope.” To be fair I did get a little specific, but if they would just send me a copy of the Federal Law I can look up which Senators voted yea, or nah. Here is my request.
“Moving forward together,” is their slogan.
October 27, 2022 at 6:01PM I receive an email from Mirla. It looks like someone is working a little overtime at the public request division. Maybe they’re a little shot staffed.
They want to kick out their response another six weeks. I’ve kind of moved on since May 6th, 2022 and we’re not in an emergency anymore. I should have requested a copy of the emergency order. Maybe there isn’t one. Maybe it’s not too late.
I sent this email off just before the emergency Halloween party animals arrive.
Let’s see if there is an official “emergency,” order. I want to frame it and hang it on my office wall next to the Federal Mask Law.
That's the last time I read your writing and try to drink coffee at the same time, just can't do it, laughing too much. Congrats on surviving 975 days of the emergency, I don't know how we pulled through, but we did. Must've been all that "moving forward together." (except for workers fired over mandates, or customers discriminated against in now-debunked vax-scrimination. Those people don't count in our togetherness.) And amazingly, the crisis ends just in time for mid-terms!
Hey, are those mask signs a sign of false claims fraud? We have the False Claims Act
(31 U.S.C. §§ 3729 - 3733, a federal statute originally enacted in 1863 in response to defense contractor fraud during the American Civil War) that protects the government from false claims.

What federal statute protects the public from false claims by the local, state, or federal government? Any attorneys in the house?
Wow so much Responsiveness and Responsivesesses. Soooo glad my State is so Responsive. Now I feel very Responsive-Secure and can just move on knowing there's Nothing Happening Here Folks, in a very Responsive way.
